Skrill South club Dover Athletic have taken defender Callum Davies on loan from Sky Bet League One side Gillingham until….
….the end of the season.
The 21-year-old central defender made his Gills debut, aged 17, against Crewe Alexandra at Priestfield in November 2010, which unfortunately ended early thanks to a harsh red card.
He progressed through the youth team at Gillingham, regularly captaining the side, and signed his first professional contract in May 2011.
A lack of regular reserve football did not help his claim for a first-team spot but he has been out on loan at both Lewes and Thurrock gaining experience and now possesses 9 senior appearances to his name.
