Thurlow Nunn League Premier Division club Mildenhall Town have announced the appointment of Dean Greygoose as interim ……

….manager, assisted by his son Sean.

The Greygooses replace Christian Appleford, who left Mildenhall earlier this week after more than four-and-a-half years in charge of the Suffolk club.

The highly-respected 36-year-old stood down from his role, citing a new challenge as his next ambition.

Dean Greygoose has played football at professional level as goalkeeper for Cambridge United, Lincoln City and Crystal Palace to name a few and has held management roles at Histon, Team Bury and Ely City, where he was alongside Alan Alsop when the Robins’ finished second in the Eastern Counties League Premier Division.

In addition he holds UEFA coaching qualifications and has coached at both professional and non-League clubs and this vast experience will all be invaluable as the club continues to build for the future.
