Vanarama National League club Torquay United`s midfielder Charlie Duke has joined AFC St.Austell on a one-month loan deal.
Duke played for the South West Peninsula League side on Tuesday night and scored on his debut in a 5-2 win over Ivybridge.
The youngster’s progress was rewarded with a first professional contract during the summer of 2016.
A player of undoubted talent and ability, he appeared for the United youth team before turning out for Hallmark Security League side St Helens Town during 2015/16 on `work experience`.
Duke joins his former Torquay United team-mate Liam Prynn at the Lillywhites.
