Blue Square Bet North strugglers Hinckley United have escaped a winding-up order.
In London’s High Court on Monday, the order from HM Revenue & Customs over an undisclosed debt was before the court.
It was formally dismissed on the recommendation of HMRC.
The most likely explanation is the debt had been paid or the club had come to an arrangement with HMRC.
Had the club been wound up, it would have had its assets sold to pay off the debt, effectively making it bankrupt.
