Conference Premier club Lincoln City have announced the signing of striker Jordan Burrow on a two-year contract.

A product of Chesterfield’s youth system, Burrow, 21, was one of nine players recently released by Stevenage with the six-footer turning out twenty times in League One last season.

A regular on the scoresheet during his youth and reserve team days at Chesterfield – which included a hat-trick in a 2010/11 Midland Youth Cup semi-final success over the Imps – Burrow gained experience on loan at Boston United in September 2011 and following his release by the Spireites joined Morecambe on trial before making the move permanent.

He went on to spend eighteen months at Morecambe before signing for Stevenage in the summer of 2013.
