Joachim Becomes Stocking`s First Recruit

Leicester City legend Julian Joachim is the first of Jeff Stocking`s signings for Midland League Premier Division club….

….Shepshed Dynamo ahead of tomorrow`s game at home to Tipton Town.

During his professional career Joachim initially played from 1992 until 2011, but he came out of retirement in 2013 tp play for Holbeach United and then Shepshed and Oadby Town under Stocking.

Joachim notably played in the Premier League for Leicester and Villa, having also played for Coventry City, Leeds United, Walsall, Boston United and Darlington before moving into the non-League game to play for King’s Lynn, Thurmaston Town, Quorn, Hinckley United, Holbeach United and Coalville Town.

Over the course of his career in professional football, he has scored over 100 League goals and accumulated over 450 League appearances, and whilst at Villa he played in the 2000 FA Cup Final.

Joachim will also assist Stocking with the coaching at the club along with Paul Appleton (assistant-manager) and Jason White (coach).
