Vanarama National League North club Corby Town have completed the signing of former Derby County striker Andre Johnson.
Twenty-year-old Johnson played with fellow Steelman Kurtis Revan at Derby County, with both being released at the end of the 2013/14 campaign.
He joined Worksop Town during the summer of 2014 and went on to score 16 goals for the Tigers, earning himself a move to Matlock Town. He also enjoyed a loan spell at Rainworth Miners Welfare last season.
Johnson has spent the start of the 2015/16 campaign at Heanor Town, who currently sit third in the Midland League Premier Division.
He has been in impressive form so far this term having netted 7 goals from six starts, including a hat-trick against Dunkirk in last week’s league cup fixture.
