After Saturday’s Emirates FA Cup win at Rushall Olympic, goalkeeper Craig Hill notified Evo-Stik League Southern Premier Division club Kettering Town that he would be seeking first-team football elsewhere.

The 21-year-old decided he would rather leave than fight for his place following the recent signing of Paul White.

Hill joined the Poppies in October 2015 after being released by Aston Villa.

He`d been at Villa Park since being released by Chelsea as an under-15 and became a regular for Villa’s youth team, making seven appearances for the under-21s in 2013/14.

The highly-rated keeper made forty-five appearances for the Poppies.
