Vanarama National League North club Boston United`s midfielder Kyle Dixon has joined Evo-Stik Northern Premier League First Division South side Basford United on a month’s loan.

Dixon joined the Pilgrims permanently from Notts County in February 2015 having completed two earlier loan spells at the Jakemans Stadium.

He initially arrived in January 2014 and made five appearances during a successful loan stint and returned between September and December 2014 to make a further seventeen appearances.

After a brief loan spell with AFC Telford United, he resumed his Pilgrims’ career by signing an eighteen-month contract.

The 21-year-old has linked up with Martin Carruthers’ Nottingham-based outfit in a bid to gain valuable match time over the festive period.

Meanwhile, Sunderland loanee Jordan Blinco has left the Jakemans Stadium and returned to the Stadium of Light following the completion of his one-month loan with the Pilgrims.

He scored twice in five appearances for United.

And winger Nicky Walker has joined Toolstation Northern Counties East League side Clipstone, although the Pilgrims have retained his National League North registration.
