Goalkeeper Dean Snedker has joined Calor League Southern Premier Division club Banbury United on a month’s loan….

….from Sky Bet League Two side Northampton Town.

He will go into the squad for tomorrow’s game at Arlesey Town after Leigh Bedwell returned to League One Swindon Town on completion of his maximum allowed loan period.

Nineteen-year-old Snedker has come through the Northampton Town youth system, making his first-team debut in a Capital One Cup game in August 2012 in a 2-1 home win over Cardiff City.

He is on contract with the Cobblers until 2015.

He made his England under-19 debut against Denmark in February 2013.

More recently, Snedker has been on loan at Ryman League Premier Division side Carshalton Athletic since September and played regularly in their first-team but has had to recently return to Sixfields as his maximum allowed period of short-term loans to them has been reached – the same situation as why Bedwell has had to return to Swindon.
