Neil Kitching, manager of Evo-Stik Northern Premier League Premier Division new boys Stafford Rangers, has added another new striker to his squad.

George Bowerman, 24, joins Rangers after leaving Vanarama National League North side Altrincham following their relegation.

He started his career with Walsall, where he came through the academy to make fifty League appearances and net 9 goals.

After a spell on loan with Redditch United, Bowerman was released by the Saddlers and briefly signed for Woking before returning to the League with Accrington Stanley, for whom he made seventeen appearances and scored 3 goals.

He moved to Altrincham in July 2015 and totalled twenty-eight games and 5 goals.

He joined National League North side AFC Telford United on loan in January 2016 but that was initially cut short when he was offered a trial by Major League Soccer side Orlando City.
