Stutes Earn Decent Point at City

Histon moved level on points with fifth-bottom Bishop`s Stortford and six clear of third-bottom Colwyn Bay after…..

…..a hard-earned goalless draw at Court Place Farm against Oxford City on Wednesday night.

It was a disappointing outcome for City, who still harbour hopes of mounting a play-off challenge, and went into the game on the back of a 6-2 walloping of basement side Hinckley United last Saturday.

But it was the Stutes who the lions` share of the game, especially late on when the referee added 6 minutes of stoppage time after an injury to City keeper Matt Ingram.

The draw means that Histon are unbeaten in the last five matches, but the point did little to help Oxford, who have played more games that most around them.
