Skrill South club Concord Rangers have snapped up highly-rated Lewis Taaffe from Conference North side Histon.

Originally a striker, the midfielder-cum-forward progressed through the youth ranks with the Stutes and cemented his place in the senior side during the 2010/11 season with a number of impressive performances on the right hand side.

He scored a stunning long range volley at Nuneaton Town and added another nine to get to double figures by the end of 2011/12.

He suffered a broken bone in his foot in the last game of the 2011/12 season but has since gone on to play almost 100 times for the Stutes and score 14 times.

He has also trialled with Dagenham & Redbridge and spent time on loan with Molten Spartan South Midlands Leaguers Colney Heath whilst recovering from his broken foot.
