Tames Loaned to Albion

Evo-Stik Northern Premier League First Division South club Witton Albion have confirmed the loan signing of 24-year-old forward Steven Tames from Vanarama National League North side Stalybridge Celtic.

Tames joined Celtic from Warrington Town – signed by former boss Liam Watson, who he had him with him at Southport, having joined from Prescot Cables, where he scored 19 goals in 2012.

He went on to make forty appearances and score four times for Port.

In 2013 he joined Vauxhall Motors on loan, eventually making the move permanent in in 2014.

After banging them in for Vauxhall Motors (11 goals in 25 appearances), he joined Hyde United for the 2014/15 season upon Motors voluntary resignation from the league.

After falling out of favour at Hyde, he joined Warrington, where he made 13 appearances.

He arrives at The NetDec Stadium for a three-month period.

Meanwhile, teenage striker George Miller, has now returned to Bury following his brief loan spell at The NetDec Stadium.

He scored once in two appearances for the club
