Steve Housham, manager of Skrill North club Gainsborough Trinity, has brought in three players ahead of tomorrow`s trip to Colwyn Bay.
Housham has brought in 20-year-old defender Callum Howe on loan from managerless Sky Bet League Two side Scunthorpe United, former Trinity favourite Lewis McMahon on loan from Evo-Stik Northern Premier League Premier Division side Matlock Town and striker Paul Grimes from NPL First Division South outfit Brigg Town.
Although a regular on the substitutes’ bench, reserve team captain Howe is yet to appear for Scunthorpe in a first-team match.
The Doncaster-born 19-year-old enjoyed a loan spell with NPL Premier Division side Frickley Athletic last season.
McMahon was originally on loan to Matlock from Gainsborough towards the end of the 2011/12 campaign, where he netted five times.
Formerly with Sheffield Wednesday and Notts County, he joined the Gladiators permanently in the summer after his release by Gainsborough.
Grimes is a pacey striker who re-signed for Brigg from Grantham Town in December 2012 where he won the supporters` player of the year award in season 2011/12 after scoring twenty-one goals in thirty-four games.
The former Retford United striker scored thirteen goals for the Zebras last season following his return to the club and has eight to his name so far this season.
