Stourbridge have announced that both Brandon Hague and Brad Birch have committed themselves to the Evo-Stik Northern Premier League Premier Division club ahead of the 2016/17 season.
Both players have impressed in the three pre-season games to date, with Birch starting all three matches and netting the Glassboys fourth goal in the 4-1 win at Leamington, and Hague making a cameo appearance in that match before starting both games against Stourport Swifts and Kidderminster Harriers, netting the second goal in the 3 – 0 victory at Swifts.
Hague is a product of the club’s successful youth team.
The teenage striker scored 27 goals in all competitions last season as the youngsters scooped a hat-trick of trophies, having been signed from Stratford Town in the summer of 2015.
He has signed a twelve-month contract with the club, with an option for a further twelve months after that.
Birch, meanwhile, began his career with Worcester City, and the midfielder has subsequently spent time with Archdales, Westfields, Bromyard Town and more recently Littleton in the Midland League, before linking up with the Glassboys this pre-season.
