Ebac Northern League Second Division club Whickham produced an `upset` in their FA Carlsberg Vase Third Round replay on Tuesday night.
They beat Toolstation Northern Counties East League Premier Division side Brighouse Town 1-0 at The Glebe.
Ross Peareth scored the winner in the dying seconds against a Brighouse outfit currently occupying fifth place in the NCEL with a right-foot shot into the top corner.
Whickham are at home to Northern League First Division high-flyers West Auckland Town in the next round.
