Skrill South club Whitehawk have signed striker Waide Fairhurst, who was released by Conference Premier side Lincoln City yesterday.
Fairhurst joined the Imps in the summer of 2013 following the expiration of his contract at Macclesfield Town.
He started out as a youngster with Doncaster Rovers and having gained experience during loan spells with Shrewsbury Town, Southend United and Hereford United, current Lincoln boss Gary Simpson signed him for the Silkmen in July 2011.
Appearances during his first season with the Silkmen were limited due to injury, but he was a regular on the scoresheet during his second campaign at the Moss Rose, prompting Simpson to secure his services for a second time.
He returned to the Silkmen on loan in January, but played only once to add to the dozen games for the Imps this season.
